I feel a great sense of gratitude for
the many blessings in my life. Perhaps it is a result of aging and realizing
just how lucky I am, or perhaps it is just the overwhelming presence of the
media in my home that continually reminds me of just how bad it can be for
others.
My greatest blessings include a
supportive family base, and my children. My family base consists of my parents
and siblings. They are always there for me, and offering a steady stream of
encouragement and support. My children give me joy on a daily basis. They are
my largest source of happiness, and I am the luckiest mom in the world.
Each of them is a unique individual,
and just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside. They are full
of joy and optimism and love. They are strong and independent, and know how to
make correct decisions. A couple of the kids are more strong-willed and feisty,
and they make life all the more interesting. But I love each one of them and am
so immensely proud of them and the human beings they are growing and developing
into.
Each one of them has his or her own
special talents and traits, likes and dislikes, and each one of them is kind
and loving in their own special way. They deserve the best that life has to
offer. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to spend so much time
with them and watch them learn and grow though the years. In spite of how hard
it can be, and the craziness of it all, they are the beauty in my life.
